IESA Class AA Sectional
Location: Grayslake North High School
Time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (All Times Are Approximate)
Admission Fee: $4 Adults, $2 K-8 and Senior Citizens, Competitors get in Free
Meet Information:
FAT TIMING WILL BE USED (Athletes will get a hip sticker in the bull pen.)
Girls will run first & Boys will compete in the Field Events.
After the girls running events, the girls will compete in Field Events and the Boys will run.
Remember, the Hurdles and 100 M Dash events will have a Preliminary Qualifying Race and possibly Semifinals. Top athletes from each heat will compete in the Finals (Top 8).
--> To qualify for the State Meet on May 18-19, an athlete/relay team must get FIRST place in their event OR have a qualifying time/distance/height/throw. Make sure you look at the standards for Class AA FAT Standards.

Boys Running Events Begin, Following the Same Order
Field Event Order
Boys Compete in Field Events While Girls Run, Then Switch
Long Jump - 7th followed by 8th
Shot - 8th followed by 7th
High Jump - 8th followed by 7th
Discus - 7th followed by 8th
Meet Entries
2 Per Running Event for each Grade Level (7th and 8th)
1 Relay Team per Grade Level
1/4" Pyramid Spikes Only
Bullpen
Will be located on the track near the start/finish line area. Only those athletes that have been called to the track for their event can be on the infield. ALL other athletes must be in the bleachers.
Teams need to supply Starting Blocks, First Aid Kits, Stop Watches for timing - ALL other items/equipment will be supplied.
They will supply batons for each of the races.
